I make the 90 min. drive to dive with SeaDog outta New Symerna Bch. Supposed to go out Friday, if the wx holds. I plan to bust some serious ass!:D

I'm trying to spearfish out of Canaveral. So far, haven't had enough vis to SEE fish, so spearing has been a little slow.
Maybe in 200'.....;)

We dive and fish out of Canaveral. Just registered, been diving for a number of years (started in early 70's). Wife gave me a 48" Biller for my birthday this past July.:cool: Got to use it once so far,:mad: time to go slam a few when this weather breaks.:)

Glad to see there are some other serious "Spear-slayers" in our area. My buddy and I are looking for boats that need some serious spearfisherman as regular crew going out of Canaveral, Sebastian, or Ponce. We're both spearfishing diehards and are Nitrox certified. Let me know if you need crew.

Don't know about offshore, but the river vis around Canaveral sucks. Went stone crabbin today, and the viz was about 1' ......got about a gallon of claws in an hour and a half

How are you getting those stone crabs....do you use a tong or something? I saw tons of them off Homosassa. Sure looked good to me:D

I almost always go out of Ponce, since I live here. I have had good luck out of Canaveral, but i just don't get down there much. Just recently found this board, and I'm glad to see there are other serious steel slingers here.

I have fished out of Ponce but I find myself more often going out of Canaveral since my buddies have their boat there. Unfortunately they don't dive so if your ever looking for some shooters drop me a line.

This is a great board...you can "tell it like it is" here. Some real slayers hang out here, good info and some good trips too.
