I'm down here in Islamorada this week and there's a lot of confusion about a new 20" minimum (fork length) regulation for recreational harvest of dolphin. I've asked about 5 of the locals about a new 20" minimum for dolphin and they had no knowledge of the new law. The July 2004 issue of "Fishing Lines", FWC publication with recreational limits, has no mention of it. Turns out it is a Federal regulation for Atlantic waters off the Georgia and Florida coasts.
