SOLD. THANKS BUCK!

I need to thin the arsenal so I'm selling some guns I don't see myself using. I much prefer a local sale. I live in Laguna so you can pick up your gun on the way to your favorite hunting grounds. Call me at 949-310-4764 if you have questions - Richard. I may not answer PMs for a few days, so call for quicker response.

Riffe Hawaiian - $400. Used less than a handful of times. If you see this gun you'll think it's brand new. Bought it on impulse, but I already have this size covered. Great gun for local kelp or islands. Use for bass, YT, WSB, or halibut. Details:

5/16" X 55" shaft (standard shaft)
Large Riffe double flopper with chissel point (2.5" floppers)
3 9/16" X 24" bands less than 1 month old, + 1 older spare

JBL Magnum XHD - $125. This was my "go to" gun for many years. Shot my first WSB, YT, and halibut with it. I couldn't put up with the crappy muzzle that came with the gun (bands would come loose, needed wire ties to hold it together - unbelievably crappy) so I made my own that works like a Riffe open muzzle. Never had a problem with the modified muzzle. The gun is short, manuverable, but has decent range and a lot of power. Details:

3/8" X 47" long shaft
Rock point with rotating double 1.25" floppers
Spare break away tip with tri-chissel point and 2" floppers
3 5/8" X 24" bands less than 6 months old + 1 older spare

Sea Hornet Pacific stainless steel 800 - $75. This was my first speargun and it shot LOTS of calico and sheephead. Would be a great gun to carry on night dives for thumpin' rockfish when you're hunting bugs. Would work on halibut too. Details:

5/6" X 40" shaft
Rock point with rotating double 2" floppers
2 9/16" X 18" bands about 2 years old

You'd pay $300 to buy a new one. I didn't think $125 was too bad for a gun that worked well for WSB and YT, but if you think it's too much, give me an offer.

Or, you could buy this one:

good come back.!! I think your price is very fair. I still have my JBL's from 25 yrs ago and they still shoot fine when I want to just shoot them for old times sake ! Good luck

Id post this on craigslist too, dont change the prices, everything seems to be priced very fair...More people come to Spearboard to lurk and window shop, if they go to craigslist, usually their looking to buy. I had a 42 biller and i couldnt give it away on spearboard for 100 bucks, i put it on craigslist, and the 2nd day i had multiple offers and sold it for 155. Ive given up selling gear on spearboard because everyone here seems to be an expert about whats things are worth, and i usually dont want to hear it.

Most responses (Like above) think they are experts in the field of gear knowledge.

I just sold some old, fugly scuba fins on craigslist for $50, If I tried to sell them here I would have opened up a debate about opened heeled fins v.s full pocket fins. Orange County Craigslist is the second highest visited section for "For Sale" items. Good luck!

Thanks guys. Actually, I'm in the process of posting them on Craigslist, but I needed to reduce the picture size so it's "in process". I also have them posted on bloodydecks and scubaboard. But I agree Craigslist is the best for this stuff.

Hey Seadogger, the No Ka Oi is waiting to smack some white seabass if a few weeks! Thanks!

Thanks CIslandHunter. I couldn't believe how crappy the original muzzle was. This muzzle works great. The gun is very accurate and much easier to load.

I got a call from a guy in Riverside that wants to buy all 3 guns. We have an appointment on Sunday morning to meet. If that doesn't work out, I'll let you know.
