Hey guys,
We'll be starting a fish of the month club/competition the first of March.
It's gonna be pretty straight forward. Any fish counts. You can submit as many fish as you'd like. We'll keep all weighings a secret until the end of the month, don't worry.
Each month's winner will receive a prize, and have his fish pic mounted in a plaque in the shop. Each month, the old picture will be replaced. We're gonna start an archive book to file the retired winners photos and possibly stories.
Anyone who brings in a fish to get weighed will receive a consolation gift of 10% discounts for the remainder of the month. (Discount not applicable to sale items) Opaleye don't count! And please don't bring any tiny fish guys.
I think we're gonna judge fish based on more than just weight; a 10 pound Calico beats a fifteen pound white or yellow, and other things of that nature. Lobster count too, when in season. If you have a gnarly story, that'll weigh in too.
If you guys have any recommendations for the rules or anything at all, let us know. Otherwise, consider it ON starting Monday! Let's see some big fish guys!
