According to the Fish&Game laws its states, "In Marine Area 8-2 only, it is lawful for divers to take shrimp by hand or hand-held device from 7:00 p.m. until midnight on any open day in May".
What does it mean exactly when it states hand or hand-held device? Are shrimp pots allowed if they are pulled up and hauled in by hand? Or is it strictly hand held nets and such.
Any clarification would help.
