I can just hear you guys going at it in that Boston accent. That cracks me up:) Sounds like my inlaws. Glad to see that some guys up there get into the water and have at it. Always wanted to catch lobsta in the hoba. Can you get a decent catch from shore or do you mostly do boat diving? Kayaks? My wife's family is from New Hampshire and one of these summer visits I'm planning to do some lobstering.
Born and raised here and got no frigging accent - anyway the phenomena always associated with the Boston accent is actually called "post vocalic 'r' deletion" That is, the 'r' that follows a vowel gets deleted. Its rooted in our immigrant grandparents that spoke the queens English with an accent and for some reason the linguistic phenomena took hold.....
Anyway enough on that - I just hate bogus profiling. Yes the bugging can be great from the shore- but it is often necessary to take a bout out for a real sweet spot- and those are closely kept secrets.

No offense intended Vin. We down here in the south tend to be proud of our accent even if everyone else thinks it sounds kinda funny. And I'm not too sure on the origin of it. But, being from a military family and having lived all over the place, my southern accent only rears it head after a few beers or hanging with the relatives for a while:D
Thanks for the info on the lobster. Maybe I'll try and hook up with a dive shop near the shore and see what they can do for me when I get up that way.
Just talking smack-
My inlaws live in St. Petes.
I thought I was going to be down for Easter this paste year and was looking forward to diving with you guys. It'll happen yet.
Stay well.
