anyone going? ill sure be there representin. its at jannus landings in st. pete, and the show starts @ 6. im so stoaked about this concert, and i have been wating for a long time to see them in concert. i wonder if the rastas will be out in full force...

Can't go, but I'll tell you straight up that Steel Pulse is one of my favorite bands of all time, and I've seen them 3 times. They are an awesome, mystifying show!!!

Found the Jannis Landing site, tickets $18/$20. Place is three blocks from my office. It's on sunday at 6pm. Never seen them myself, but got a few of their cd's. They are pretty damn good inlet. Hopefully they are better than the Whaler's show I saw at USF about ten years ago. the music was good, but the band got pissed in the middle of the show and walked off for some reason. Whatever. Chant a psalm a day:cool:

i enjoyed the show a bunch. i especially liked the opening band. they were pretty damn good themselvs.

junior, maybe you would know this, but what happend to the old guy grizzly. did he die or something? he wasnt at the show, so i was wondering what was up. or maybe he shaved his facial hair so i didnt reconize him....

did not see anything about him being dead or anything on their news items. He was in some recent photos, but I don't believe I saw him either and I don't think cutting the dreads is an option usually for those guys unless he went buddhist or something. Overall a good show, the opener was a local bunch of guys and I got on their email list for local shows. Check the jannus landing web site, there is another reggae show coming up this month if I'm not mistaken. Inletsurf, it was as good as you said:cool:

I agree, but I thought I was in Orlando with the drink prices. Great venue otherwise though.
