Shark bite in Tarpon springs ?

Caught a short blip on bay news nine last night about someone getting bit by a shark in or near Tarpon.. I ran in the room to see what it was and all I caught was the USCG helo flying away...

Anyone have info on this?

Gotta love the media, and my by love I mean hate. A "vicious shark ATTACK"...pretty sure that's not an attack when you are fishing and trying to remove a hook from the shark. Anything for headlines I guess.

Let's see. . . a man catches a shark and pulls it out of it's natural environment, scares it by putting it in an environment where it will die, on a hard boat deck, then messes with it's mouth trying to get the hook out and gets bitten in the process. . . YEP! sounds like a "VICIOUS SHARK ATTACK to me!!! That MEAN OLD SHARK!!!!

And we continue to believe what the media tells us about EVERYTHING. No wonder so many people hate sharks.
