Room for spearo

I'm going out on Sat, as long as the weather holds, with my little brother. He doesn't dive and will be fishing the whole time so I need a buddy. Not going to be a very intense diving day though, planning on 3 dives 80-110'. I'm pretty laid back and happy if I only a fish comes back, looking for a like minded diver. Give me a call 624-2084.

I will have to take you up on that offer one day Pat. My mom lives over in P.C., I could kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

I'm still pretty new to diving and spearing. How newbie friendly are ya? :D

Extremely, I've only been spearing frequently this year and I still have alot to learn. I got my cert back in Feb of '92 and was only a sporatic diver until last Summer. I bought my boat in November and even though I have been on the water my whole life I've learned that there was more to having a boat than I considered. So I'm new there too. I wouldn't classify myself as a cone, though I'm sure many cones wouldn't either. I try to go every weekend and I've taken out several guys this year (strangers) that i met only through Spearboard. They all made it back to the dock safe and sound.

Well that didn't take long, I filled the spot about an hour after posting. Fishnfool13 and Undertow I'll have to get you on a later trip, maybe two weeks? (08/06/04) I'll be heading out then as well and have 2 spots open.

It was good but I haven't had time to type it out yet and my boss dislikes me hunting and pecking away on the keyboard for non-railroad business. Tonight, though I'll get something out. Letrappes, might be able to start the ball rolling though,... in a new thread?
