Report for KVI - 6/13/10:

Surface:
Sunny with temp in the high 60s to low 70s. Slight current, but manageable to spear.

Water:
49 degrees with visibility 10' at its best. Site was easily stirred up by other divers. Recommend heading to depths of 70'. Few lings, red rockfish, no cabezons, but a number of annoying rat fish.

Mine 26-1/4"

For the geographically challenged - what pray tell, is KVI?

It's in the Puget Sound, on the East side of Vashon Island (directly across the `sound from Des Moines). It's on the north end of Tramp Harbor. If you drop the GPS coordinates in Google Maps then you can see right where it's at. Here are the coords:
4725.216' N 12225.635' W

It is from what my cousin says. He is from Kent and gets out to this site pretty regularly. I would recommend going by boat as from shore is a long hike and a good distance surface swim.
