a few weeks ago i made friends with craig g. from ssg. and we talked about getting me all the way to dive master. you know rescue, nitrox, advanced, all that padi stuff.
this sat and sun i did 2 adv. dives and some text work in monterey in between his open water class.
i was openwater certified 3 years ago.. in the first 6 months i di 35-40 dives and now my total is 65 or so.
however i am no longer interested in scuba. after freediving for the last year or more i would rather pursue my breathold.
i just posted because like alot of things i see, try ,hear about everyone enjoying and think i might like i am kinda shocked to find how much i didnt like being confined to scuba gear...
i even have really nice bc,reg, no rental junk..
i have already arranged to carry my friend on the purchase of this gear cuase i dont think i will ever use it.
it makes me think that while to some it is freedom for me it is a hinderance.
freedom is relative i guess. lately i think freedom as i have known it isn't really free.
ill try not to make that mistake again. but ill probably fall for it. cause i like ppl and value their experience. with alot of things this is how it goes for me...
i am taking adv. freediver with pfd at august end and will report back my findings.
