Currently, there are good concentrations of squid off RPV up into Redondo Canyon and outside the Long Beach Breakwater...could end if the commercial guys bag everything but, it will pull the northern wsb back down later if the squid concentrations last thru the winter months...in the meantime, there should be some wsb and halibut up in shallows resting after eating all the candy bait locally....jumbo great white sighted out by the 43 bank yesterday...estimated at 17' plus...threshers showing all along the southern coast...good eating fish...but, the tail will knock you silly if you get careless..
