Were you at Pinnacle culverts out of St.Auggie yesterday? I saw a Lion fish there yesterday and if you saw one at a different spot then it looks like they're here to stay. Nobody knows how they got here since they are supposed to be in the pacific.

I think I remember reading that the Florida fisheries commission wants divers to report any lionfish sightings. They are trying to keep up with their abundance since they use to be pretty rare up here.

We are seeing lots of lionfish here in sc also. Seems like at least one of us spots one every trip.

Sounds like a good trip.
I got fooled by the weatherman into staying home yesterday, when it turned out to be pretty good out there on this coast, too. Having to read about what a great time you guys had makes it all the worse. :D

Went to SS,the stuff around Mikes lobster spot that's in the JOFSC book.Theres more than 40 ledges within a 2 mile circle there.Lionfish is # 4 for me here. The pinnacle culverts were always crowded when we go go outta S.A.BTW AUE-Mike is lookin' for info on the shipwreck in that area.Scott,I use NOAA,FNMOC and intellicast .If one of them says it's a go ...........it's on .Sometimes get handed my ass tho.
