Who's your favorite comedic actor right now?

I don't know why, but Jack Black fricken kills me. Just saw him in High Fidelity, and the guys cracks me up. Also, in Shallow Hal he was pretty funny.

Jack Black's great. I saw Shallow Hal for the first time 2 weeks ago and it damn near killed me.

OK OK, Those two movies do not even compare to "Saving Silverman"
Jack Black was SO Freakin' funny in this flick. He reminds me of John Belushi in a way.

If you liked Shallow Hal and High Fidelity, rent "Saving Silverman". You will laugh you ass off.

He was good in "Orange County" too.

jack black killed me in orange county. i havent seen high fadelity(sp?), and only seen parts of shallow hall. jack black is the man, and his music is pretty good too (tenatious d).

right now, its hard to say. i think we are in a comic slump. (if there is such a thing).

all i know is that adam sandler is good, so is gene wilder (for some reason i think willy wonka is pretty funny. so is young frankensitne). mell brooks, john stewart, those guys from the man's show adam and jimmy.

a good movie that ive been trippin over lately is half baked. that movie is too damn funny. if you havent seen it yet, it is a must see....

I'd have to vote for Steve Martin. I love the old SNL.

And Black was a riot in Silverman(bought the dvd just so I could skip around and watch him).
