shore diving so cal

looking for buddies interested in shore diving so cal. anywhere from santa barbara to mexico. am relatively new but am very interested. have all my freedive gear and a pole spear. also interested in hooking up with groups for boat dives.

Well, I'm heading down to PV tomorrow... had a buddy cancel so I'm diving solo (unless I'm lucky enough to run into a few spearos on shore)...

But I'm always looking for new dive buddies... I'd love to have a couple of people heading out for the weekends (2-3 would be great! I hate worrying about cancelations)... I'm pretty new too so it's nice having a crew where you don't have to worry about keeping up; but I'm no slacker either, I'm 25, in shape, do a static 2:45, and can drop to about 35ft... (still working to improve)

I'm in Venice (just South of Santa Monica) and I dive as far north as Leo Carrillo, and my furthest south has been Old Marineland in Palos Verdes.
