Jax 4/3/11 Turtle Rescue

Headed out on Sunday to do some diving, on the way out we picked up a five balloon set floating in the water to bump up our karma a little. Well it worked and we did great on the flounder and picked up a couple of sheeps. On the way in around 1230 we see a marker buoy floating along, hoping its a new spot we swing over to pick up the trash. Well the buoy kept moving and we noticed the little turtle all tangled up in the line. We got him in the boat and freed up and sent him back to the deep blue sea. Hopefully the bumped the karma up for next time! Great day on the water 30ft of vis and water is definitely warming up!!! Here's a few shots.

Side Note: In case anyone cares, I also salvaged a nice anchor off the bottom on my first dive. Second dive held some of the biggest monster Red Bass I have ever seen. Lots of HUGE GAGS and Endangered ARS!!

What was the temp and viz. Planning to go out April 23rd. I know it will change by then. Just wondering.

Vis was 25- 35 ft. I think the temp was 62-64, which was a lot better then the 58 two weeks ago.

yes, we were out 4/02 and temp was 64...fellow diver also rescued a sea turtle, tangled in long line on the bottom...good weekend for the turtles! :) our vis was awesome at 60-80' but we were 50-miles out
