Brief introduction: I think ive met Mike a few years back at the 20 year PVHS reunion. You're the DJ, right? Anyway, my name is Adam Hoxie. I'm a teacher in San Pedro at Cabrillo Ave....got 2 kids...a divorce ...been a longtime surfer, diver, paddleboarder etc. probably similar to the other guys going.

Ive got some questions about safety / emergency gear that i'd be stoked to get some help with

I have
* CO2 infatable riffe utility float that attaches to belt
* RA foam filled float
* case of beer

I need ( I think )
* whistle and mirror?
* dive flag?

What other safety equipment is recommended or required?

The whistle and mirror should be a must, I'll probably pack a light stick as well just in case I get stuck out there at night heaven forbid. I'll probably find some way of hookin it onto my RA float if we end up making Cortez. Other than that, sounds like you got it covered. Look forward to meeting you. Also, do you live in Pedro too, or just teach here?

We should hit up a dive sometime, and if you want to come by the house and talk gear, I'm open anytime.
