How many people have signed up for this year and how many people attended last year?
What were the top fish taken last year?
I'm interested in going and hopefully we can gather a good group of guys to come down there and have soem fun at the Tournament.
There are so many good fish down there and the chances for such a mixed bag should be hard to pass up.
DO you have a general concensus on how may and who is coming yet?

There is some nice snorkeling that can be done around the bridges. This should give you East coast guys a good shot at the gray snapper division. Sorry I don't think they have a catogory for spotted wahoo.

Yeah i was actually thinking more along the lines of Garrison bight. There are some good secret spots in there that are in only 7-9 ft of water and given my ailments i've accumulated on foreign soil that is about as deep as i can effectively hunt. Am i correct that the elusive giant threadfin mullet is also in the sportfish category? They are plentiful under the docks at night and I've seen them well over a hundred lbs. God i hope so. If i have to leave the surface to shoot something there is no way i will be able to compete. You guys gonna be using those newfangled dart guns? I've seen some crazy looking guy in a camo get-up in some magazine shooting these giant catfish looking things they musta been shooting from the boat cause the water was only bout 5 feet deep. Think they call it abb ill-er or something. Guess the fish get so sick looking at the guy they just gone and give up! Gotta get me one of them things if i'm gonna make the big time.
See you savages down there.

You guys don't want to dive with other people............remember, they might inadvertently shoot Dane with their speargun and drown and stuff. :D

GR taught me this weekend how to dive deeper than 30 ft.
All you have to do is head for the bottom in 60 ft, lay there for a minute or so and wait for a pair of 8 ft Dusky's to take your 2 hogfish and your float down to your same deptha nd then drag you along at 5 knots. If you can return to the surface don't worry they will immediately drag you back down to a depth of their shosing while one of them circles back and tries to eat the end of your gun. Seems to work pretty well, kind of like an underwater scooter except with big teeth and avoracious appetite. Hope you guys enjoyed the show while they frothed the water and i sat unsuspecting on the bottom. Great spot though. GR got and Chris both shot 7-8 lb MAngroves. Ritchie Slacker managed an excuse about having a date that night and something about messing up his hair and stayed in the boat if i remember correctly. Or was he tanning in his speedo. Damn red tide dive/dance team, you never can tell what they are up to.

O.K. Biatccch Boy,
Don't be giving up family secrets. Ritchie still has enough memories of you in a speedo to stop dating for two weeks.
Me , you, Key West in a speedo, should keep the Spear Board Voyers in a frenzey for a while.
Stay tuned for the results.
