Hey all,

here is a little movie of the first half of the 2011 Abalone season here in the north. For you fin snobs, notice the crappy fins we amateurs used to find these giants. And yes, maybe I did jack them from Wolverine.

Very nice Shannon. I'm heading up Thursday for a few days. Let me know if you want to dive. I'm taking the boat, kayaks and dive board. I'll be camping with the family and friends at Manchester.

Nice vid, Shannon. Especially like the slow mo redwoods drive by with the Neil Young accompaniment. It's art.

What a great video, thanks for posting it! Everything from the fog in the redwoods, kelp forest and great water….. Its easy to sometimes take for granted this fantastic resource that is so unique to our beloved North Coast

I was keeping that part on the DL!..... karma is a wave you surf both ways, he's a cool dude with a great family. Are you going to be on the Caost on the 20th?? I'll be diving the NCUH AB turny and cookoff on saturday but wanted to go scouting on Sunday
