Check this out. Dropped down on the Rankin last mon. Saw a big school of AJ's all decent size. Picked one out and took a shot. Wasn't a kill shot and he was spilling blood. As I was getting him on my stringer his "grandaddy" kept cruising by. I got my gun reloaded and got a shot on him as well. Didn't kill him either...just seemed like I pissed him off. I had quite the rodeo going on with these 2. The big on 44" the smaller one was 30".
We spent the week hunting up and around Ft Pierce. Saw a number of Manta rays and with them came the cobia. Vis was really low all week. Never could get a shot on a cobia but one of the other guys hit a monster that pulled his shaft right off his gun (he should've been using stainless steel cable like me!)
