Secret cove, Laguna- This video of boarderline wsb should suffice! Shot 1 calico and gave it to some danny guy I dove with. I did get a few "u suck" comments, because they diddn't see the wsb, but they were happy with the calico.

Dive 2; Victoria Beach- Took the polespear out and the stupid(smart) sheephead kept their distance. I respected that and fed them some Urchin.:thumps: Nothing like watching a school of 2, female fish turn into a frenzy of 20, +5lb male goats. XavierDeRoos and his buddy danny got out and I went a looking for reefs. Vis was 15-25ft over the sand. Some massive rays around. Found a reef holding some bass and practiced stalking them, cornered a big 4lber and held off. Found a smaller hali also on the way in, but when I loaded he bolted.:down: ~25".
Lots of grunion out, next few days should be good. With 100lbs of fish in the freezer and my dad on a Bluefin trip, you can see why I didn't shoot anything. :toast:
