New V2. Saw a deal pop up on it last year. If you do a search and find some threads on it, I think people said that some dealers will sell it at this price but they just can't advertise it.

Mako has the V1 Aeris for 279 and the V2 for 350. I called about it last month. I ended up getting the Aeris F10 V1.

I just bought a cressi edy II a month ago and I love it. Bought it off a guy who worked at a now closed scuba store. Price was 225 I think and he had 1 left. Look in the gear section and search because I posted this a little less than a month ago.
The only drawback with the cressi edy II is that it doesn't display time of day during freedive mode. No big deal.
I bought my Suunto D4 from craigslist for $225 about 2 months ago. The watch was used on 3 dives before me, brand new. I am super happy with the purchase. Do a search on craigslist every few days, something might pop up. You can search all the craigslist (not just by regions) with the allofcraigs.com site. Works really well.

Ive got the Oceanic GEO bro. On leisurepro for 274. It not only gives the temp, depth and time of each freedive but it will log how many dives you do past 5 ft for each day. Plus if you ever get into Scuba it is a fully functioning dive computer that is nitrox compatible.

Make sure you get one that samples every few seconds. I've got a casio seapathfinder that is solar powered that works great with temp/depth/bottom time etc but it doesn't store more than your last dive and it takes about four seconds to get the sample, it was cheap at around 100$ on ebay and I use it for work and casual diving.
Omer has a new watch out that I'd like to hear more about, but I don't even know if they are out yet. In your price range I like the suunto d3, mosquito or if you are really lucky the d4. I've got that one and it's a great watch and you can change the battery yourself.

Have you checked eBay? I picked up a citizen promaster for $180 shipped. It's in great condition. Some good deals still pop up now and then.
