Well, as it turns out, a buddy did me a huge favor. It was one of those favors that leaves you feeling kind of guilty because it is such a good favor .....and then he wants nothing in return. That kind of guilt eats at me. I don't like taking advantage of people, especially my friends. So, I decided that I would return the favor and build him one of my ab boards since he is so fond of diving NorCal for abs and because he likes my boards.

This board was a little unique in design. It is large, like my red ab board. It measures 53" long and 23" wide at the widest point and is 3" thick. Very buoyant and will hold a lot of weight. These boards are longer being made and are extremely difficult to find (So is my red board). Here are some pics showing some of the things I used to build and assemble the board. Hope you guys like it. I am sure my buddy will also. :thumps::toast:

Thats sweet, thanks for all the pics. I've got some good ideas of what I want to do, and how I want to do it now.

another clean design. Kudu's Bryan!
BTW, the Intova IFL660 is mounted on the hole gun with an old bicycle pump clamp, and is KILLING the fish.

Thanks. Did you nail that big-assed ling with the light clamp setup?

Yep, and even got a bigger one at a distance when I couldn't follow it into an overhang any further. The light projects such a tight beam, it's like a Red Point, and I don't really aim at all. Where the light hits, the shaft follows at 6-7ft. Bagged a 6.5lb Cab too, he sat still like a spot lighted deer.
