float/board for shore & jetty

i put this together for jetty diving, basically to hold my water stringer, and anything else i may want on my person while I'm cruising the jetty for dinner... it also stays within 50 feet of me displaying a flag...

Board turned out nice. Looks like you were able to minimize on the amount of holes you needed to drill. Nice front clip mount. :thumps::toast:

I got it from a garage sale, i used an old tent pole and put the metal part into the board, with the elastic string. Then i put the flag on the tent pole, it snaps in and out really easy!
The front clip mount was actually already there, it had a spring loaded lever that lifted up to hook the pull rope on "from the boat". Its a great little float!

Yeah, you can drill the holes and when you put the mount in, using the well-nuts, it will seal the holes with absolutely no leakage. And then, you will have a detachable flag pole mount and flag. :thumps::toast:
