Yep, i totally agree... i see this crap on facebook all the time. Last time it was to stop the Danish whale hunt.... indigenous peoples continuing traditions they have done for thousands of years. That is too funny. I guess it is true that fur seals are "endangered" there since they do not occur there. Harbor seals are more common than sand there though. More of the misinformation of America.

We have our share of hippies up here to contend with. All you can do is smile and nod, since there is no reasoning with extremist groups of any type.

"... would have ended our need for middle eastern oil." That is as much nonsense as the pigs being portrayed as US Farming. Read up on the bottle neck of supply through refineries. With a free flowing pipeline from the Canadian sands or even the Bakken Formation, US supply can only be refined so fast because of limited refineries. The oil pipe isn't shut down yet. Obama is aligned to big business. The thing will go through after the appropriate reviews.

As for the massive amounts of food from China, I prefer to eat local produce and seafood caught with my own two hands. There is no difference if its farming abuse their or here if it ends up on tables here.
