Buy the 16GB card unless your going to get the battery pack. Standard battery last about 2hrs which is all the 16GB card will hold. As far as the flat lense check out Mako Spearguns.com they have them.

Backscatter makes a glass flat lens for the gopro. Should be a bit more durable that a plastic one.

The 16 gb card is a waste of time. Get the 32gb and the extended battery. 2hrs of filming goes real fast on a day on the water. backscatter or blur fix are two good flat lens company, just make sure you get one made of glass. They also allow for better polarizers or red filters. They will last longer and won't scratch up either.

I'll throw in my vote for Eye of Mine (eyeofmine.com) and the extended battery pack.

I did get a freakin amazing deal in it and fast shipping!!
As far as a red filter would it be useful 30 feet deep in fresh water?

The 16 gb card is a waste of time.
gpro2 works with 64gb sd cards (not all brands!)...;)

flat lens mounting needs to be carefully done...

Backscatter's flat lens comes already attached to a housing, so you can keep your original housing for topside work.
