Does anyone own one of these? I like the fact that it stores and transports easier that the fullsize ones.

Wondering if it makes for a good diving kayak after you rig it.
Thanks

There are a lot of different kayaks at that URL. Might be better if you point to a specific model.
As an aside, I would NEVER pay retail for a sit-on-top kayak in California. You can get them for a fraction of the price used on CL.

Still looks like takes up a huge amount of interior/ bed space that could be better utilized by standard transport. Not a convenience id burn the money on. And I second CL.

Oh its the "Tequila". The one that comes in 2 pieces.
I agree that paying retail for a Kayak is ridiculous, but this one would make the transporting so much easier.
I drive a truck and the bed is about 6 feet. So the thought of having a 10 foot kayak sticking out on the freeway makes my cringe

Buy a set of Thule bed racks. The big down side to those kayaks is a lack of storage space. I have a Scupper Pro dual hatch and couldn't be happier. PLENTY of space inside for guns and gear. A friend lost gear coming back in through surf because he strapped the gear to his kayak rather than storing it inside.
