Has anyone ever used one? If so what are the pros and cons

No, have never used one. But I have taken a look at one, which is the Grandslam model. First off, the length in the Grandslam is just about as small as you want to get, at 14.5' long. Because its a little over 30" wide, it will be very stable. A few drawbacks are that the hatch compartment will not hold a large gun (Hole too small). Maybe a 75-80cm, maybe bigger if you remove the shaft. The tank-well in the stern is small, but good to carry small gear. Be sure to properly attach or tie everything down in the event you flip. Because these kayaks weigh about 65lbs, it will be a little on the heavy side for carrying to and from the water. Other than that, a good kayak. But you are better off looking at a few more options and brands. :thumps::toast:
