I just bought a mako flat lens and i have no idea how to put it on. I have un screwed the old lens but their is no O-ring to keep water out. Is their something i am missing.

I put mine on but you can still see the edge of the lense, not sure whats up with that.

That's your video setting. Change it to R5 mode. That's what most people have luck using.

Im thinking about getting the Mako Flat Lense for diving but how will it film out of water like if i take ot MTN. biking? Should i get a spare case with the stock lense?

This is vid. I took last weekend with the GP (not Hero 2) set in the R-5 setting with a mako lens. At the start you can see how it performs out of the water on the boat... Works Ok for me...

My .02 Get a better lens then the mako...98.6 % videos with mako lens can be spotted within 5 seconds of filming. Very tunnel-like and not professional looking at all. If you hasn't seen the eye of mine with the red filter I'd check that out first.
