In case any of you have been looking for a GoPro, here is a cheaper alternative that got decent reviews..
http://www.woot.com/
Woot is a deal-a-day thing, so the price will only be good today..
The major drawback I see is the casing is only rated to about 65' deep. Maybe better suited to some of the freedivers who hunt in 30-50' range.
Anywho, just thought I'd share in case someone needed an action cam but didn't have the $cratch for a GoPro.

For a little extra coin you can probably get an older go pro. I'm sure there are used ones in the area or on eBay you can look at. I'd be hesitant to buying something like this with little real reviews about it.
Buuuut you could be the one that tests it out and tells us all how great it really is.

I have a Hero2 and love it.. Picked it up 2nd hand from craigslist. And, personally, I agree.. Just save up another $100 and get a brand new Hero or a used Hero2.
I just figured, with the season ramping up, a new cheaper alternative might be the best bet for some people out there.. Also, I also read that this camera will fit in a GoPro housing,, so that solves the 65' problem. Plus, it already comes with an LCD screen.

Best Buy has the original HERO housing marked down to $9.99 right now. I went in to buy replacement lenses (2 cost $19.99) and ended up buying 2 entire housings for the same price.

That's a pretty sweet deal considering the Hero2 will fit in the HERO housing (I THINK).. I think they're $29.99 standard.
