Stolen Speargun!!!!!!!!!! LOOKOUT PLEASE

My friends gun was stolen last night (Fri 5/4) from his aluminum boat on his side yard in Cardiff.

Missing Items:

65inch 5 band Teak Custom Gun
Alexander Mech and Handle
Mori shaft and sliptip
Potts reel
Gun has BLACK bands

Gun was in a custom grey bag, contents also included:

Custom olive M&B 5mm suit
Omer Millenium Fins size 40-42 (I think)
2 masks and snorkels
Spider dive knife

I doubt the theives knew what they were getting because the bag was sealed up and another gun was in the area that they did not take.

They also took the 6 gallon gas can(s) by cutting the line.

Ill update if I can think of any more details....attached is the only pic I have

Wow they got it all.. f**kin tweakers and thieves... I got ripped off one time.. i kept everything in my car, surf stuff, dive gear etc and they took everything. worst feeling ever.. check craigslist. I will keep an eye out.

Sorry to hear that. Keep checking C List daily for a year at least. There was a gun stolen up here in SB and it was the better part of year or more before it showed up on C List, after having changed hands a few times. The seller didnt know it was hot and it ended up back in the hands of the owner.

I know that the 2 guns I have bought off C List were not hot, but that I scored them by being the 1st guy to respond to the ad. They dont stay up long so look daily, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights lots of stuff gets posted up by people looking to feed the monkey on their backs....

Yeah, it really is. Good luck finding it back dude. The suit too. Those suits are pricey as hell too. Really bummed to hear man. Gun is a beauty. That requires a mandatory ass beating if found. :eek:

I feel for ya, I had a pelican brief case stole out of my boat that was filled with speargun shit. Tips, crimpers, mono, cable, bands,tools.......I know they probably threw it away and kept the case

I am SO Sorry that happened. I hate freakin thieves. I bought a brand new $1100 powerwasher last week and some f#@k cut the lock and stole it. Its a very bad feeling when it happens. I hope they are caught. Everyone help pass the word.

Bump on this thread just in case some of you haven't seen it. The gun is obviously unique but the gear bag is as well. There was only 4 bags made with the grey tarpaulin...see the photo, its just another thing to keep an eye out for.
