I bet it was smooth as hell out there today,I had to work for a few hours this morning. The water was super calm when I drove over the Courney Cambell this morning. It was definitely killing me!!!!

Yes, on a good day, no problem. Last Sunday, went out 90 miles in the MG, and burned 171 gallons for the whole trip. The boat carries 300 gallons. Could have probably done even better than that had I not done 38 mph the whole trip. At 32 mph, I can get it down to about 26 gph.

This will be a great trip. Don't worry about the loran book, Spear One. There's plenty of lockable dry storage, and I'll stand guard when you're in the water. But, in an abundance of caution, I'll put everything in my bottom machine as a back-up in case your book is blown into the water. :D

Seriously, though, I don't think we'll have any number stealers on board! However, with the time you've no doubt got into your book, I wouldn't fault you for locking it up.

Anyone have a Contender, another Venture, or Fountain. We could fill two of these boats. Dave, right now I've got six, but you're first on deck. Hope I can get you out again with us.

Keep it under 34 mph and we can take the blackfin. I can't efficiently cruise faster than that, thats the sweet spot. 4 divers, 4 tanks no problem. Double trouble, D4B, Rich, G55 and others will attest.
