The MTA is considering a tax on drivers for every mile they drive. It will be calculated via GPS and could be as much as .10 per mile.
I guess the taxes we pay on gas to fix our roads is not enough to cover the repairs.
I guess there is a down side to fuel effecient vehicles.
P.S. Low income people will not be required to pay the tax.
