This years Saint Petersburg Open Spearfishing Tournament is just around the corner. This is a Big Fish Tournament and everybody has a chance to win something. Freedivers go head to head with Scuba Divers to put up the most impressive weigh-in the spearfishing world. This world class tournament attracts approximately 300 men, woman, and junior divers from all over the world. http://stpeteopen.com/
Check here for more information, registration, and tournament rules.
Even if you do not want to shoot in the tournament you definitely don't want to miss the most impressive weigh-in ever. 100 Lb groupers, 100 Lb Amber Jacks, 80 lb Cubera Snappers, 25 lb Hogfish, and who knows what else you might see.
I hope to see you there:beer:

You do not have to have a big boat with tripple engines to win this tournament. I shot my winning fish in 29 feet of water on an artificial reef a feww miles out. My big boat plan was foiled so I went old school:D

The big kickoff party and the end to early registration savings is this wednesday the 8th at Mugs & Jugs on US 19 in Clearwater, just north of Ulmerton Rd.
It should be huge and crazy, and bigger than last year if you can imagine that!
See you all at 8pm Wednesday!
Free beer and food while it lasts!

Seeing 300+ spearos at a weigh-in and the fish they come up with is something I look forward to every year.
If you could you get triple trolling motors on that dingy bracket I think it would be a interbay game changer:)

Well he did it again! I'm happy with second place glass though.
Thanks to the St Pete Underwater Club for an awesome tournament. It is evident that crazy amounts of work go into it. We look forward to it every year.
Next year Zacker :gun:
