Was in the H2O Yesterday off Rockport round 12PM.
32 on the surface and 37 at depth. Real clear 12-15 foot vis.

Saw a few snails- but I let them live.

Clav- Coz is off this Spring - but I'll be down in Westport for a week. I'll let you know dates as we get closer.

Stay well,

Vin

Well we make do with what we have!

Be sure I am happier w/ 200 foot vis in a shortie.

I got a line on a couple of good spots for lobster...I might be going next weekend or during the week.

Once you get over the ice cream headache it's not so bad....

That is crazy, the water is probably 38 where he was.

I have a 7mil neoprene dry suit. Henderson Arctic. Price was right, I love it for what I do, it's perfect. I got a good blast of cold water down my neck when I turned my head and looked up...other than that, I stay nice and warm with sweats on underneath.

The bggest advantage is you are sort of dry when you get out of the water...I prefer a wetsuit (less drag)and will be back in one as soon as I can bear it.

Ditto,

Back in the day...I didn't realize how cold my hands had gotten, I couldn't even release the buckle on my weight belt or BC. No joke.

H2O was 35 at depth in folly cove this weekend.

I am diving a DUI CF200. Crushed neoprean tough as hell also warm with a thick combo of expediation weight fleece underneath + 2 pairs of wool socks and the DUI dry gloves. I loose the gloves as soon as there are fish to shoot or bugs to grab.

Clav-
What kid of deapth are you getting on the bug shore dives?

15 feet tops. It's all very shallow coves and around the marinas.
