Sufice it to say, Morro negrito and all of Panama is a lovely place w/even nicer people. I did find my self some gold thanks to one of the LOCAL guides...

I'll second that. Panama is a great place to visit. Morro Negrito is a little slice of paradise...

That Golden might give Cam's WR a run for its money. From the pic it looks to be the same size or bigger. How big was it?

The GT's were shot at a river mouth free swimming. I shot one even bigger, but I wasn't prepared with my 90cm gun, w/o reel or float. It took me for a wild ride before the spear pulled. Blake, JC's GT was 35+ lbs... The river mouth is where it was at, but unfortunately we didn't hit it up untill the last day... We would have done some serious damage if we would have gone there each day for a few hours. Instead we were there for just an hour....
