It could have been better, but didn't have much time. Photoshop is such a great program, and their new selection tools are better than ever.

It does look funny as hell to see such a giant looking hog.

How did you cut it out so perfectly? I rarely use Photoshop so I don't know, but you did a great job cutting the hog out of the pic.

Paul, here's how I did it.

I enlarged the original image to 200% for more detail.

I chose one of the selection tools. For this one it was the magnetic lasso. I started selecting around the fish. Fins and such are more difficult because of their jagged nature, and you sometimes have to play with the sensitivity of the lasso.

Once the fish was fully selected, I opened up a blank file, and dragged the fish so that is was it's own document. I then enlarged the fish by using the "image size" functions. I then played with that by dragging it back over D4B. If the size wasn't what I liked, I'd simply undo the last move, and change the image size.

I didn't even bother to extract the original fish. Just laid the bigger one right over it.

It took about 5 minutes. Someone can probably tell me how it could have been even quicker. For example, there is a way to just enlarge the selection without creating a new file, but I couldn't recall how, so I didn't want to mess with it.

You can do the same thing with the paint program on all Microsoft OS's.

Dan, I used PS to enlarge the fish. It was a prank. For the record, I used a photo that was currently posted, so no one could possibly think we were trying to pass it off as real.

Check here (http://www.npr-florida.com/d4bhog.jpg) for the original photo, which is in D4B's report.

Damn D4B has to be the star of every photo. Here, traumatized driver of the durango has to lean to the side just to make it in the shot:

If I had any time on my hands at all, I would have colorized D4B to match the background. But then again, if I had time, I wouldn't be posting at 3AM.

Here's a D4B caption on the photo:

"Get your pathetic deer killing ass out of the way, I just shot this ****er in the retention pond by the interstate!"
