Since all us charter guys are sitting at the computers instead of the helm today, I figured I'd pipe up also.
We are booked until June 9th. Plenty of middle grounds spots after that date however. Like the others say summer is a great time to be in the grounds. At 350.00 pp and a close location right at John's pass, I would't wait to book.
Of course that price still includes: Two day catch limit, three meals a day, huge air conditioned bunks to sleep in, ice for your trip home, and fishing gear/bait for the night time bite.
We are a little slower than the other guys (10knts.) However, we do spend the same amount of time diving in the same rich enivroment of the MG's.
This slower travel actually makes for better sleeping IMO. Not to mention all the Wahoo, sails, and Kings you have a shot at with the trolling lines out. (between dive spots)
You sleep all night Thursday. Wake up to diving all day Friday. Fish all night Friday. Dive all day Saturday. Sleep all night Saturday and wake up refreshed in port on Sunday am.
If you do not want to bother lugging tanks around we usually have enough nitrox 120's/108's for you at 12.00 per tank.
