Has anyone got the scoop on the Shimano Camera that is supposed to be similar to Go Pro?

only good to 10 meters underwater. No housing available and very few accessories. Not ready for prime time to compete with the gopro for spearos. Seems its more a fishermans camera.

Hey, thanks for the info. It appears that they have a way to go to get up in the big league. I haven't even got a Go Pro yet but am in the market for one. Thanks again.

The gopro is not a camera for spearo is a camera for action sports due to its high spending on drums and is to carry on for a certain action Continuous recording
there are other more hydrodynamic cameras and offer better alternatives and energy saving features like Midland or Intrepida HD

Thanks for the input Ramon but now I'm more confused than before. It seems as though many of the divers use the Go Pro to record their trips. This seems to fly in the face of what you posted???

I use the Nikon AW110. It's a little bigger than a Gopro, but it's more versatile so your girlfriend/wife won't give you too much heat when you buy it. ;)

Depends on what you want to record, for a given action a short time, this either a Gopro, but gabrar six hours a day of fishing is better than the other options and camera battery usually last for two days Intrepida, Midland more sostificacion screen wifi etc more energy expenditure
