I have replied four times to the debate going on on the FS board between D4B & Liverock and they have cut all four of them! What the heck gives here?

I didn't use one curse word etc. and they cut it anyway.

Anybody else gettin trimmed?

Scott/Venture can't post the time of day without it getting zapped. Rich has had some problems too.

It's so rampant, I'm almost starting to think it's a hack job or a server problem.

I don't know what the hell is wrong over there. This is strange, though. If someone like Eric deletes your stuff because he feels like it, he'll come right out and tell you so. What's with the silence? We've heard 1 small comment from Eric and that's it.

That place sucks, just like that shitty magazine. After subscribing for MANY years, I let it go about 3 yrs. ago. Same old bs year after year. The action spotter was a joke. I personally saw one of their writers, who was in a contest, weigh a flounder. I still to this day haven't figured out how a 3 lb'er gained 2 lbs while dead!:confused:

I’m wondering why I haven’t gotten deleted yet! I’m about as bad as anyone when it comes to insulting Gman, (OK, except for you, Inlet), but I haven’t seen 1 post of mine get zapped. You’d think if someone was targeting the worst offenders or the chief users of Spearboard, I would have gotten nailed by now.

My last two replies have been deleted within minutes. Do I see a pattern here? I have just about had it with Eric Wickstrom, and his Forum of the Third Reich. Sorry that I won't back down from wannabe chef in South Florida who has a problem with the adjectives I use, and who without anything but his opinion accuses me of destroying the Middlegrounds, the place I enjoy diving and bringing people to the most. **** YOU, Liverock, you Ladies Home Journal recipe copying, presumptuous pussy (Thanks Scott for the lack of censorship)!!!! I think there is a server problem...everything you guys have been posting has been legit. I hope that it isn't anything personal.
I think the moderators are ok with our topics. LOB and Capt. Fletcher moderate the board....they are not the type to screw with you (at least without telling you).
Maybe we are f-ing with the G man too much:D ....he's just so easy to F with.

Damn....that's too many moderators. Got to be a way to find out. Personally I think they are cowards if they can't just tell you what the problem is.

This is pretty funny. Salter, of FSU joke fame, has found a way to get some idea as to what the moderators are saying in their little "closed door" moderator forum.

You click on the name of a moderator that was last in the moderator's forum, and it tells you the name of the last thread they replied to.

D E E P's profile said: last replied to "Salter and other morons..." in the "moderators forum."

I wonder if I made the "other mororns" list. I'd be damn disappointed if I didn't. :D

I put in my resignation on that forum. I can't tolerate G-vagina anymore. I'm over watching everyone get bashed for awesome catches, and having so many ****ing idiots back up G-bag.

What did it for me, though, is the lack of courtesy for my deletion on the g-jizz conservation post. If you get deleted for anything less than telling everyone to "watch out, this guys a troll and he's trying to pull you all into his argument to cause anger".

I will happily continue to have fun over here. Nobody shits on a good catch. Nobody deletes posts or censors opinions. And most importantly....

You can’t view the moderators forum. I think you can just click on the moderators name and see where they posted last.

Thats right...my back door at Sebastian Inlet. It has been getting so much coverage that every asshole with a boat was out this year, diving on top of other people's flags, buzzing boaters...all done 20 miles out. It has never been as crowded as this year. I point some of the blame to that magazine's coverage of the spot and it's "big" lobs.

Any one of you can right now pick up any July issue from now to 8 years ago and see that there is diving for lobster coverage. Very detailed articles written explicitly for novices or tourists. (Who else would show the Wal-Mart Lobstering Kit in their article???)

You know, I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if it WERE Gman. He might not, (ok, DOES NOT), know a damn thing about diving, but if you check his background, he looks like he might be fairly knowledgable in the IT arena. I don’t doubt he has the skill to do it.
I still kinda doubt it though. If he deletes posts, he can’t argue as much, and that seems to be his purpose in life.

This question came to mind as most of us post to these forums only because we are stuck behind a desk to pay the bills and don't have the freedom to be out on the water on a weekday.


If you didn't have to work anymore, had all the time in the world to do as you please, would you chose to stay indoors and instigate arguments on an internet fishing forum or would you get outdoors and ACTUALLY fish and dive???

I guess, judging from the pastie complexion, Karl chooses to stay indoors. LEWWW__ZZZEERRRRR!!

You won't see it. It used to be that you could at least see the link to it, but now you don't even see that unless you're a moderator. The only hint of the forum's existence is the "last thread replied to" info in the user's profile.

I am really getting tired of D4B's reports digressing into a bullshit argument that has been rehashed several thousand times with no resolution. (Write Tallahassee or Washington, bashing your fellow diver is not going to change the rules.)
