Capt. Seastalker had the hot trigger finger this trip.
Crew: Brad B, Merk and Me
Drops were from 150' to 100'. Temp in the deep stuff was 59 on the bottom. Viz was 50+' in the deep stuff and 30' or so in the 100' stuff.
Best takes were Seastalkers's 25# gag on the deep stuff and then a 35# gag on a solo drop in 100'. We took are limit of nice mangroves up to 10# and I took a just legal true black and a nice hog for the East coast at 6 lbs. Of course I saw my limit of lobsters on my last dive, but they knew season was closed.
Merk has the turtle report and I'll save that info for him to post.
Merk's best take was dropping a monster "Turtle" with a single clean shot that had the force of 30 cocked - 22" bands. I heard from the bathroom crew at Burger King that it weight at least 4 lbs. :D
