passing this on from an email I got.... I remember Josh and some others have done it in the past.
WeLoveCleanRivers.org is hosting their 12th annual river clean up on the Clackamas River at Barton Park. I was asked by a friend to pass this on to our club members so that anybody that would like to join in could sign up and volunteer to help out.

A note from We Love Clean Rivers:

"Hello River Friends,

We can hardly believe ourselves, but yes, it’s true… this year will be the 12th Annual Down The River Clean Up on the Clackamas!

Please SAVE the DATE! This event, hosted by We Love Clean Rivers in partnership with Clackamas River Basin Council, will take place on Sunday, September 7th, 2014.

And, in the meantime, if you want a refresher on what a super fun, sunny, rewarding, community-wide, give-back-to-the-river-day this event is, we recommend watching this awesome video below by Perception NW from the 10th Down the River Clean Up…"

Lars, which category do I need to register for? With or without boat? Certainly not scuba. Last year Steve brought his boat. Thanks.

Without boat...unless you want to bring your kayak (not necessary)
Codzilla is bringing his boat.
Scuba would be fine too just tell them you will be freediving with the others in pod 12.... antho we did kinda ditch the rest of pod 12 last year.

Thanks Lars! It didn't ask for a pod, but I'm sure that's fine. Just let me know the meeting time and place, and I'll be there.

Lars, do you know if we'll need to pay for parking? There seemed to be some confusion last year.

No, you can print out this pass and use It for the day.

Last year we had no pass for Saturday, only Sunday. This year we are just going on Sunday.

I can't seem to download either file. Can someone bring extra copies of the waiver and parking pass for me? Thanks!
