Ok, our first meet was canceled due to weather. So We are going to try again. The time 8:30am. Place Lewis, DE public boat ramp to travel to outer breakwater. Date 5-15-05. We will be hunting along side Diamond State Skindivers and although it is not a set competition with them we will win big fish and crush them at the weigh in! :D I will let everyone know what the score is after the event. The final score for our club was Myself 1st with a 8 pound Taug. 2nd place Zakari Haitot 5lb. Taug. 3rd Will Savage with a 4lb Taug. Our club had a great time for our first comp. Vis was 6-12 ft, water temp 58 and the Stripe Bass where there but non taken for our club. I had a about a 36" Striper pass me but fadded out of sight before I could get the message from my brain to my hand shoot, shoot, shoot!!!!!!! :o Great fun and good to have braggin rights for couple weeks. :D

We had a Rodeo style event out of Ocean City, MD on June 5. The out come was Champion Matt Turner with a total of 17 Pts. Weighing in one Sheepshead and Tog. Bob Eckman took big fish and second place with a 15 lb. Tog. This Rodeo was a lot of fun with an equal number of SCUBA divers and Freedivers. Next date is june 19 a Fathers day Rodeo!

Where do you go out of OC, MD? Do you go offshore and use scuba, or are y'all freediving?

MAN I wish I knew about all this when I lived in Baltimore!!!
