Today was the weigh in for the Aqua Aces Rodeo. I hope everyone had a great time. Congrats to all the winners and participants. Some great fish were brought in to the scales including a new State record Mangrove Snappert shot by Rafe Antill. 20lbs and some change. Beautiful Fish Rafe. A 28lb Red Snapper took top honors along with an nice 80ish Amberjack. The beer flowed and good times were had by all. I am looking forward to the Hell Divers Rodeo so I can chase that giant Red Snapper if Dave Chaix doesn't get it first.....See you in a couple of weeks. Hey Scott B. ........I got wet and it wasn't the bathtub!!!!!!!!

I have some pics from the scales that I will post. Big assortment of fish came in including a 77# Willy backed up by two smaller ones, maybe five or six willy's total made it to the scales, as well as several big gags and scamps.

Someone from the AA club has a few shots of the Man-grove. Rafe, Toby, Cory and Andrew did some real damage. Here are a few photos from the event. My camera was giving me grief so I missed Get em and Lick em and Stick em at the weigh in. Anyway, here they are.

And finally the last few. One is of my wife, Mrs. ROCK BOTTOM, Cathleen, with her first grouper. We dove in the rain for a few hours until everyone but the fat guy, me, got cold and was concerned about hypothermia.

We got plenty of pics to go with those. Russell Avacato from the AA has a pile to send me. Will get them up ASAP. Thanks Again to all those who supported the rodeo it was great. HDR in 2 weeks!!!!!

This is the only pic I have and it's from my cell phone. I had five 4th place fish.................. The Mangrove that LaSeaCat was holding went over 14lbs. Damn the luck Dave!

My observation on the sh!t, Me and Stan got drunk the night before,,,,, I woke up OK, cause I'm in condition, Stan woke up drunk. The first dive of the day Stan beat me down,,,, I haven't dove with him in a while and forgot how fast he is, I told him to go first. My mistake, he shot a 35lb Willy. After that point I added 2 more pounds to the ol weight belt and KIKKED in the afterburners, no more Stan beating me down. I shot fish, he watched, that's the way it should be.

Stanley, let's get drunk Friday night. I got your back. Luv ya brother!!!!!
