Based on a thread in Tidalfish.com, I'm interested in finding some shore entry spots in the OBX.
I'm headed down there in August (to Corolla).
I don't mind viz of about 10'.
I prefer freediving...less gear to haul around.
Any details would be SO appreciated!!!
Thanks!
Matt

Don't know about the place, but are you planning to freedive this weekend?

I dont know about up in corolla, but down in KDH (Kill Devil Hills) 2'nd street, the triangle wreck, about 200 yd offshore is a good place, I finally found some triggers the day before yesterday, usually have some sheepies, tautog, flounder and spades. The huron wreck is just north of the nags head pier off huron street about 250 yd offshore, similar marine life. The boiler is off of the ranger station down on pea island 300 yd offshore. The bridge over oregon inlet can be tough because of currents but can hold stripers. And also the sea walls down in buxton. If you need some clarificaiton just let me know.
