Paul: All nice fish - but especially the black and the cobia.
Have you heard from AJ on possible MG dates?
What's up with your website? I haven't been able to get it to load for the last 2 or 3 weeks. Wanted to see when and where you guys are playing next. Maybe I can make it this time.

story will come..... im working on school shit now. i just checked my website, it should be working, it did for me. we are opening for stereomud on may 10th.
alright, im here typing, so i might as well put off the school shit for a few more minutes, so here's the story......
i always dive alone, its my living. once in a while, the market for tropical fish dies and the guys i work with and i just go out to **** around, yesterday was one of those days.
i decided that i wanted to do the rodeo 25 wreck in pompano. i've seen alot of big grouper there, and alot of huge ****in sharks, so naturally, i made my buddy come along, with a polespear. he knew what he was there for....shark deflector.
we went down, and as soon as i hit the wreck, i swam 40 ft and saw this big carbo. i knew that i only had a second before he bolted, so i took a quick shot, and it was a pretty good one. he went under the stern and was stiiring all this shit up, but i charged in there, grabbed him. and was attempting to stab him in the computer. i looked over my shoulder to see my buddy, 5 feet off the bottom, pole spear in hand, with a 9-10 ft bull violently darting back and forth behind me. i quickly grabbed the grouper, bagged him, andf sent him for a ride on a lift bag(only had to do that once before). i then attempted to reload my gun to defend myself or spear another, but the shaft looked like a pretzel, so we quickly headed up, on the way back to the line, i saw another big black, but my shaft was bent and you can only press your luck so much on one dive. it weighed 41 lbs.
as for the other pics, just random pics from the same roll. it was our work camera, its a tough job, but somebody's got to do it....

Relax! The hammerhead was caught by a charter boat. It was just on the same roll of film.

i didn't kill the shark. a hammerhead would really have to show aggression to make me even feel defensive. it was killed by a charter boat. I don't agree either, but layin there on the dock, it was picture worthy.

Sharks are sinister, cold-hearted, cold-blooded, ruthless eating machines, not puppy dogs. They eat many, many more fish than we take. They are all over place. I hate the freaking things, and only an idiot who never goes in the water thinks that we dont have too many of them.

Mola Mola are worthless as a food fish. The flesh is "soft and insipid," they are invariably infested with worms, and frequently laced with tetrodotoxins (same stuff in puffers). No point in killing one - they just eat jellyfish so they're not even competing for other food fishes.
They're sure neat to see, though.
