I am looking for something like a 48" or 52" SS commercial gun or something comparable (new or used). Any sugestions on where to get one at the most reasonable price. Looking to buy this week.
Thanks

Call Mac's TODAY. They had all of their spearfishing items on sale for 20% off. They might honor that sale today.
If not, wait until this weekend, the Scuba Quest in Tampa is having a tent sale this weekend.

Macs has one Commercial 52" Rhino left and a couple of Rhino 48" Classic Rhino's left as of late Saturday. Might want to call and make sure they still have them before heading over.

I'm glad to see referrals to a dealer for once instead of mail-order sources.
BTW Mac's prices are good through today, Sun. They sold a lot of gear yesterday, but also offered to raincheck every item that any customers I talked to wanted that were not in stock. There was some serious positive energy going on there Saturday!
Have you ever seen Leisurepro or any other mail-order outfit put on clinics like Mac's did yesterday? Have they provided a chance to pick the brains of the owners, founders and representatives of diving equipment companies? How about offer "dive before you buy", pool gear demos? Or teach classes? Fill your tanks? Fix your regulator on the spot? Replace defective gear on a tournament weekend? Offer a loaner? Supply local dive site knowledge? Ever have a mail-order guy remember your name?
If you don't support dealers/shops, they go away! Something to think about. (If you ask, most dealers won't let some unauthorized, unwarrantied NY photo shop steal their customers anyway... they'll counter with a fair deal that includes extra benefits like those above.)
Chad Carney,
Manufacturer, equipment rep. and former dealer.

If you don't support your local dive store, you may have to start shipping your tanks to Leisure Pro to get them filled.
LIVE FROM NY....... SUPER NITROX SPECIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nitrox fills for 6 tanks..... $2.00 ea = $12.00
Shipping & Handling to New York for 6 Tanks....$260.00 each way
Hmmmmmm!

Thanks for all the help here and via PMs. Picked up a SS Rhino 48" at Mac's yesterday. Going out in a couple of hours to give it a try.
