I am just getting into Spearfishing. I grew up hunting almost year round, if something was in season, I was in the woods. Now that I find myself hunting less to dive more, I have to start spearfishing. I got spearfish just a little on a rig earlier in the summer and loved it.

I am close enough to the Texas coast to make a trip out every couple months and want to go ahead and buy a gun to use under the rigs. I have only looked at the riffe line in person. I like the look and feel of wood but havent held anything else. I don't mind spending a bit more for quality and don't want to be thinking about upgrading before I even get it wet. So, what I wanted to see is if ya'll have some opinions, experance, etc. about some of the differences in the guns on the market.

Thanks,

Bill

There is only one answer here. WWW.slingingsteel.com Spearfishing Specialties, ask for Keving Bruington. Sounds like you need to get a SS Commercial Gun.

A SS Rhino is to spearfishing what steroids are to the NFL.

Talk about an unfair competitive advantage; those guns are BADASS.

Where is the best place to pick up a SS? I was looking at their website and liked what I saw. Do ya'll have an idea who has the bst deals on these?

Thanks

They get some big fish on the rigs Ihave been told you might want to think about a power head too ask kevin about a .223
if you like to hunt with a riffle then you will love the power head
BANG and the BIG fish are dead like now no life threatening fights.

When I started hunting as a child I used a rifle, then added a few handgun hunts per year but now mostly archery hunt only. (Still like to break out one of my freedom arms handguns for deer or hogs though)
