Freshwater Striper

[Catfish hunter]

We've been shooting lots of Walleye in Bull Shoals Lake in Arkansas every weekend, so decided to do something different. Went to Beaver Lake (also in Arkansas) to hunt for Freshwater Stripers.

Dove on Friday and Saturday last weekend. Saw a really large Striper on Friday afternoon in about 60 feet of water but didn't have a good shot. On Saturday morning, saw this one in about 50 feet and made a stone shot through the head.

Impressive, man! We gotta travel a couple of hours north into DE and beyond to get some Striper, can't shoot them here in VA or MD.

Catfish,

Have you ever dove Grand Lake? Prater and I hav been trying to plan a trip ther for some time. Paddlefish (see my avatar) would be the target fish along with the catfish.
