JUST FOUND THIS SITE, LOOKS GREAT. I'VE BEEN SLINGING STEEL FOR 25 YR AROUND TARPON SPGS. JUST LOST A SHAFT AND WAS SURPRISED AT THE COST OF THEM , HAVE NOT LOST ONE FOR 7 YRS. DO YOU KNOW A PLACE THAT HAS THEM AT A DECENT COST.

I DIVE ALOT ESP DURING THE WEEK MAILY OUT OF TARPON AND I SOME TIMES NEED A BUDDY. CONTACT ME IF INTERESTED. I HAVE A 23 FT SEACRAFT RIGGED FOR DIVING, I DO FISH SOME ESP IN WINTER.

Welcome to the board, MadMax. Your question about shafts at a reasonable price comes at a good time for me. Hope someone can point us in the right direction.

Welcome to the board bud, there are a helluva lot of guys in here with great attitudes, and even a greater amount of experience and info, Im sure you will like it. As far as the shaft thing.....I would always get 5-10 guys together and travel to a dive shop that could order a bunch of spearshafts bulk. It was alot cheaper, escpecially when you are buying a coiuple of bundles. Most shops will cut you a good deal on "bulk" purchases like that. We do the vast majority of emptying our wallets at EZ scuba on Hillsborough. 813-887-5712, but I haven't really had to deal with other shops too much. I am sure the Tackleshack on 66th st. in St Pete can do the same deal with ya. Good luck and welcome to the board!

MadMax,

Welcome to the board. If you like the thrill of the hunt and killing fish, you're in the right place. Try to make it to the Clw Hooters on 10/30.
